THE COLONNADES CONDOMINIUM COMMUNITY

T he
Colonnades Condominiums, a 55+ Community is a
collective group of eleven independent condominium
associations with a common property consisting of a
large beautiful clubhouse, an Olympic-size heated
swimming pool, tennis and shuffleboard courts, and a
waterfront on the Indian River Lagoon just at the
inlet to the Atlantic Ocean. The club- house
features pool tables, exercise equipment, sauna,
kitchen, screened porch with outdoor grill, dining
room, large screen television and an extensive
library. There are seven docks along the shoreline
for fishing and slips to accommodate large or small
boats. A gated storage yard for boats and trailers
is included in the common area.
E ncircling
a common recreational and expansive open-space
setting are 250 one-bedroom and
two-bedroom condo units occupying 21 separate
buildings. All lawn and landscape maintenance, pest
control, pool cleaning, sanitation, tree trimming,
and other chores are handled by contract vendors and
are managed by Colonnades Members, Inc. employees.
A
number of events and
activities offered by the Colonnades Social Club
include Tennis, Shuffleboard, Care Group, Bridge,
Bingo, Ball Room Dance Instruction, Parties,
Dinners, Travel Schedules, Water Aerobics, and other
planned events.
